This would be my submission for

s Center Stage Challenge - if I'm allowed to submit it way after deadline. I thought I would have half of August but now I found out we had to finish till the 4th of August

Anyways, this is what we had to do. Take an avantgarde coture look of a designer of your choise and turn it into a ready-to-wear outfit.

My designer of choise would be Guo Pei. Awesome designer. I just found her while I was searching for an avantgarde look and think all her designs are fabulous

So I took this green/purple look and turned the skirt around - keeping the bias cut. I changed the print a little cause I tried to do it from my memory. The top is without the golden parts and I added just the two strips at her left shoulder (Guo Pei's having a white strip at the right shoulder as well).
Then I took the fringes from those killer high heels and added them to her bag.
That's about it

The top not so, but i would get the skirt
